For mothers day ...... my sailor son was way out to sea and he still managed to get me flowers sent to me. he is such an awesome son.... im not a crier but i got teary eyed with a huge smile on my face.

Navy mom missing her sailor

The day my son graduated high school I knew he was growing up and I have to let him go.
The day he enlisted for the Navy I was so proud smiles from ear to ear .
The day he left for boot camp I cried for 2 days.
The day he graduated from Navy as a Navy sailor u was full of tears and smiles.I had never went in a road trip that far with basically on my own. I had 2 teenagers with me on the trio to Chicago Illinois. It's was a great trip there. The day after Navy graduation, he was flown out to Florida for Gus school.Now almost a year later he is on his Navy ship in California. Every day and night I still worry about him but extremely proud of the young man he has become and the great sailor he is .
